What happens with postage and delivery?
If paintings can be delivered/exchanged/collected in person, this will be arranged. If not, a packing and posting fee of £5-£10 will be charged (depending on parcel size). Postage will be through royal mail, first class tracked and signed for.
How long does it take for a painting to be completed?
It is reccomended that 2 weeks notice is provided per subject (animal). During busy periods such as Christmas, 4 weeks notice is recommended to avoid disappointment.
What materials are used?
All paintings are produced using Galeria acrylic paint, on either canvas or acrylic paper. All canvases are finished with Galeria gloss for shine and and protection. A smaller painting option is available in watercolour. This is produced on 18cmx25.4cm water colour paper.
How are payments taken?
A 30% deposit is required at the time of commission, with out standing balance due on completion of the painting, prior to postage. All payments to be made via bank transfer.
Do I need photographs to work from?
Yes!! High quality photographs enable me to capture the finer details of your pet and their character. It is useful if multiple photographs are sent to provide wider context of the subjects' character and features. Please inform me if you have a preference in the photo you would like painted.
